This 40-minute class is for children ages 2 to 3 years old with a parent/caregiver. The Step 1 Baby Piano curriculum is an interactive program that teaches young musicians about musical elements, such as notes, beats, pitch, and tone. Along with hands-on instrument instruction, students also participate in creative movement, singing and large muscle games. The small class size and high teacher to child ratio provides more opportunities for one-on-one instruction and structured activities. Each class is accompanied by a professional pianist who provides the rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic support and children learn to communicate with the pianist on a musical level.
